This case required four premolar extractions to align teeth without the front teeth appearing protrusive.
The upper central incisor was trapped behind the lower central incisor.
Braces were used to bring the upper central incisor into its correct positive over top of the lower incisor.
This patient had a small lateral incisor (called a “peg lateral”) and was missing a tooth on the other side.
We aligned the patient’s teeth and then sent them to their dentist to have the small tooth built up to a normal size and have an implant placed where the missing tooth should be.
